She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Frank "Bob" Simmonds. She is survived by : her children, Terry (Jackie), Sandra (Mark Currie) and Diane Simmonds; her grandchildren, Michelle (Sam), Bridget (Nate), Nicole (Hugo), James (Ann), Brittany (Jacob) and Jocelyn (Bret); and her great grandchildren, Noelle, Mateo, Samuel, Ashe, Amber, Oliver and Elena. She is also survived by her family and friends.
