He is survived by: his children, Richard (Karina), Gary Jr. (Angela) and Melissa (Josh); his grandchildren, Gregory, Cody, Hally, Eva, Sara, Ethan, Danika, Raven and Gavin; his sisters, Terry (Hugh Weir) and Denise (David Wert); his siblings' children, Claire, Martin, Jessica and Sarah; his great-nieces, Ashley and Erin; his close friend Wanita Dargie; Vivian.
