“To Doug and Family, Although I have never met her in person, we did speak on the phone at length about Robert Lyons (Armstrong), and she was quite helpful in my research and such a pleasure to speak with. Listening to her story's of the Cape, and her days as a piper were great! I loved just how easy it was to speak with her. Over several emails, I was able to get lots of photos of her dad and my grandfather as well. She told me about my mom when she was small, and I just loved hearing it all.”

“Dear Doug and family. I just received news of Aggie June's passing. So sorry to hear this. While it has been a while since we last talked, I have nothing except fond memories of her visits in Cape Breton, Truro and Pictou, and especially at Rosie's place out on the Mira.
