She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cagney and Grace Mackedie; her brother Alan Cagney; her husband Frederick George Barker; and her children, Joan and David.

She is survived by: her sibling Terry Cagney; her children, Alan (Sharron Cowan), Frances (Rob Brown) and Gwenyth (Keith Benjamin); and her daughter-in-law Christine.
