Al Young Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Al Young (Kingston, Ontario), who passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harwin Young and Helen Young (Reynolds); his brother Donald Young; and his granddaughter Olivia. He is survived by: his wife Susan Clarke; his daughters, Tracey Young, Heather Young (Ken Jones), Diana Purvis (Mike), Stephanie Dall (Sean) and Jane Clarke; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Marriner-Brulotte (Bryan), Alexandra Marriner, Payton Marriner (Brittney), Mikayla Purvis, Emma Dall and Ryan Dall; his great grandchildren, Norie, Eve, Scarlett and Thea; his sister Beverley Pitts (late Hugh); his sister-in-law Lila Young; his aunt Joan Fortier; and his close friend Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Al's memory to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or the Partners in Mission Food Bank, Kingston would be appreciated.
