He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel and Alex; his siblings, Robert and Jean; and his brother-in-law Tom Currin.

He is survived by: his wife Daphne (Seymour); his children, Vicki Heath, Donna Ammon, Bill and Gary Dingwall (Armelle); his grandchildren, Kayla (Josh), Travis (Nimara), Kelsey (Nick), Keirston (Dillon) and Drytan (Emily); his great grandchildren, Yanna, Aubrey and Finley; his brothers, Tom and Gord; and his sisters-in-law, Carol (Lloyd VanDam) and Susan (Carl Babcock). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
