He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne; his parents, Stewart and Gwyneth; and his grandson Iain. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer and Pamela; his grandchildren, James (Sydney) and Mwenda; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Maeve; his sister Anne; and his nephew Robert.
