She was predeceased by: her husband Kurt; her siblings, Martha, Tom and Sonja; and her parents, Teunis Verbeek and Cornelia Verbeek.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie (Mike) and Mark (Mary); her grandchildren, Karsten Patterson, Brittney Patterson and Kurt Andersen; and her siblings, Hans, Bill and Yvonne.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Betty's memory to either Christian Blind Mission International or First Christian Reform Church (Kingston).
