She was predeceased by: her son Jeffrey LaCombe (late Laura); her parents, Thomas Joy and Hilda (John "Joe" Cullen); and her former husband Jerry Richards. She is survived by: her spouse Adrien LaCombe; her children, Michel LaCombe (Sarah) and Krista (Andrew Murphy); and her siblings, David Joy (Frances), Wanda Hood (Mike), Bonnie Arsenault (Robert), Dan Joy, Wayne Joy (Lynn) and Susan Payne (Carl Cormier). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
