He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Silas McEwen, Loretta and Homer Young Bayne; his father Norman Young; his stepfather James Tousignant (Christina Young); and his sister Tammy Berghout.

He is survived by: his mother Gwen Tousignant; his children, Kyle Young (Kayla), Keith Chasse and Gwendolyn (Mother Sandy); his granddaughter Syndra Young; his sisters, Tracey Young, Lisa Tousignant and Mindy Ross; and his grandmother Edith McEwen. He is also survived by many nieces' nephews aunts and uncles.
