He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan; his parents, Leonard Deir and Rose Deir; and his siblings, Harold, Danny, John, Dennis and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his son Andy (Liz); his grandchildren, Matthew of Newmarket, Rob of Newmarket, Ryan of Newmarket, Owen and Ella; his sister-in-law Jacqui Princ Gananoque; his mother-in-law Bernetta Mundell Kingston; and his brothers-in-law, John Aitchison Hamilton (Melanie), Barry Aitchison Burlington (Diane) and Ed Aitchison Hamilton (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers donations to the UHKF - Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario , #4-55 Rideau Street, Kingston, Ontario K7K 2Z8 would be appreciated by the family.
