He is survived by : his father Frederick Ashurst; his wife Tammy Ashurst; his children, Brian (Kassy), Joshua (Katarina), Bradley, Tyler and Angel (Adam); his grandchildren, Drayden, Mariah, Elliot and Evelyn; and his brother Kevin (Anna). He is also survived by other relatives as well, including his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephew.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston, ON K7M5H2).
