He was predeceased by: his stepson Stephen Rand; his parents, William Greig (Bill) and Joyce Emma Greig (Wooller) of Westport; and his pet Teddy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rand Greig; his children, Angela Wheeler (Rick) and Cory Greig (Nancy); his grandchildren, TJ, Korrina, Rianna and Keira; his stepsons, Bruce and Ian; his grandchildren, Meghan, Monica, Collin, Brittany, Harrison, Stephanie, Jillian and Sean; his sister Janet Silva-White (Keith) of Comox, BC.; and his pet Gemini.
