He was my lifelong friend from the age of 11 when we started Grammar school together on the same day and I have such happy memories of those days. And in more recent years we reconnected through our educational interests and had kept in touch again ever since. the 1980s. I send my deepest sympathy to you Laurel in your loss. I will always remember him with affection. Love from Margaret (Debenham)”
