He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Diamond and George Diamond; and his brothers, George and Tom. He is survived by: his wife Sharen; his children, Dawn and Meri; his siblings, Linda, Terry (Cheryl) and Ken (Diane); and his sister-in-law Doris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Camda Sports Foundation Canada (to assist youth in Canada to realize their dream in all levels of sports, arts, and music) in remembrance of Bert, would be gratefully received.
