He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, James (Shawna Langille) and Jennifer (Dennis Alport); his grandson Lucas Alport; his stepgrandsons, Ryan, Brandon and Jacob Alport; and his sisters, Donna and Judy (Joe Ferguson). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, coworkers, friends.

A celebration of life will take place when COVID19 restrictions are lifted.
