He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Cairns and Muriel Cairns; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his children, Danny (Sarah), Debby (Shaine), John (Kaitlyn) and Shirley; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Jimmy, Jesse and Elexis; his great grandchildren, Blake and Quinn; and his friend Carol Oliver. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
