He was predeceased by: his brothers, Austin, Arnold, Keith, Ron and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Harper); his children, Rick (Donna), Mark, Lisa and Todd (Bettina); his sister Mary-Lou Gravelle (Bert); and his sisters-in-law, Eunice, Maida and Shirley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) 401 Smyth Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1H 8L1 would be appreciated by the family.
