He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McLaren and Clara McLaren; and his sister Lorraine Helsby. He is survived by: his wife Terry (Goff); his mother-in-law Dorothy Goff (Bob); his brother-in-law Rob Goff (Sue); his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Ruth-Ann Goff, Ryan, Tara Goff, Amy, Fred Hill, Danielle and Mike Kwong; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Zoey, Hudson, Austin, Charlotte, Grace, Henry and James.
Uncle David's popularity increased with the donation of an old, tired K-Car with stick shift for two budding demolition drivers who took several tours through the woods before finding first gear.
