He was predeceased by: his sister Janice Tyrell; and his parents, Norman and Edith. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his sons, Kevin (Dawne) and Jeff (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Campbell and Jacob; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine and Irma. He is also survived by his niece and many nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Dave to the Bath Lions Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
