He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Mary Thompson; and his siblings, Loretta Fernandes (Carmo) of Kingston, Reginald Thompson (Lorraine) of Brampton and Duncan Thompson (Edith) of Hamilton.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Thompson (Tracey), Andrea Thompson and Faye Thompson; and his brother William Thompson (Patricia) of Toronto. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
