He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Catherine; his granddaughter Taylor; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and James Cuthbertson; and his siblings, John, James, William, Robbie, Billy, Alex, Julia, Charlotte, Millie, Annie and Frazie.

He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, David (Noreen), Deb and Bill (Cindy); his grandchildren, Chris (Nicole), Meagan (Brody), Riley, Kaiden, Cash and Karter; his great grandchild Braelyn; his siblings, Cyril (Colette) of Nova Scotia, Dorothy (Wyman) of Ontario and Loney of Nova Scotia; and his brother-in-law Ken (Marianne) of Ontario. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
