With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Robert Thompson (Kingston, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Glen Van Dusen; and his siblings, Vanessa Anderson, Robert and Dion Van Dusen. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Van Dusen; and his siblings, Linda Kelly (Nicole) and Christopher Van Dusen (Amie Hottot). He is also survived by several aunts and uncles cousins nieces and nephews.
