It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doug MacLean of Kingston, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 95, on April 24, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean; his children, Donald, Wendy, Heather and George; his grandchildren, Angus Rennie, Chester Rennie, Will Roy, Bonnie Roy, Fraser MacLean and Jin MacLean; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Gavin, Harlowe, Atticus and Zemi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Jean MacLean Fund which supports the Ban Righ Foundation of Queen's University, or the Kingston General Hospital.
