Douglas Barry Clarke Obituary

After a very courageous battle, it is with sadness that the family announces Doug's passing on Monday, August 7, 2017. He leaves behind his sons Jesse and Ryan, 2 granddaughters Hannah and Vanessa, also his mother and step-father Dorothy and Philip Edwards. Dear brother of Jim Clarke and uncle to Meaghan Barry (Kyle) and Michael Clarke.

Remembered always by his partner Corinne Fleming. Being a lifelong resident of Kingston means his many friends and associates will miss him. The family would like to thank the Doctors and support staff at KGH-Burr Wing, and Providence Care-Palliative Care for their professionalism and support over this trying time. At Doug's request cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Doug's life will take place in the James Reid Celebration Centre, 1900 John Counter Blvd. (please enter from the rear parking lot), on Thursday, August 10 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Doug's family would like to thank everyone for their support during his illness.
