It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas R. G. Smith of Kingston, Ontario, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally (Sarah); his children, David (Deb) and Fiona Smith Hale (Ron Vandergeest); and his grandchildren, Ian (Natalie), Alex Smith (Scott), Matthew Suzor (Chelsea), David (Alyssa), Callum Hale, Troy and Jenna Vandergeest.
