He is survived by: his close friend Pattie Weeks; his pets, Ziggy and Piper; his parents, Robert Silver (Wendy Durocher) and Joan (late Reginald McQuay); his siblings, Tracy Herffernan (Gary), Julie and Brad (Krista); and his siblings' children, Michael, Scott, Eric, Michel, Nicholas and Monica.
