He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward and Hilda Rogers; his wife Carole Ena Rogers; his siblings, Terry Little and Maureen Hetherington (Barry); his daughter Catherine Ilyes (Frank); his grandchildren, Meghan Teeple (Charles), Thomas Rogers, Amanda, Jessica, Ashley and Andrew Ilyes; and his great grandchildren, Elveena, Owen and Amara. He was also cherished by his extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kingston Public Library or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated by Ted's family.
