She was predeceased by: her parents, Miriam Stephens and Maurinus Bonde Sorensen; and her brothers, Eric, Frank (late Betty), Dennis (late Hazel) and Ben (late Joyce).
She is survived by: her brother Wilfred (Nathalie); her husband Vernon Ready; her grandchildren, Geoffrey (Jinney Fu), Chloe (Luis Vincente), Aidan (Afaf Janjua), Erin (Ryan Weedon), Emily (Timothy Knowles) and Hana (James Saucier); her great grandchild Leo (Chloe); Vern, Chloe, Geoff, Rob and Jane. She is also survived by two children; helped a multitude of family members including her mum and dad; brothers; nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
