He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Wartman, Sherman Wartman, Mildred Britt, Velma Darling and Dorothy Garrity.

He is survived by: his children, Don Wartman (Diane), Gail Lindridge (Mike), Brian Wartman (Kathy) and Brenda MacRae (Terry); and his grandchildren, Donnie, Patty, Karen, Michelle, Tanner, Crystal, Brad and Aimanda. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:50 PM at the Jame Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
