He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Huber; and his former wife Hedwig Huber-Erne. He is survived by: his children, Esty Connors (Gord Connors) and Judy Huber (Chris Gray); his stepchildren, Annamarie Erne, Monica Wales-Erne, Andreas Erne and Susi Walters; and his sister Martha Huber. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
