She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martin and Dorcas Martin; her husband Leslie Smith; and her sister Clara Condon. She is survived by: her sons, John Caird (Kristine), Delbert Caird (Karyn) and Steve Caird (Angie); her grandchildren, Shane (Micayla), Jason (Mikayla Larsen), Alison (Curtis Reilly), Evan (Montanna Parrell), Rachel (Harry Camargo) and Aleasha (Mitchell Roantree); her great grandchildren, Emilia, William and Rhett; her sisters, Lois Boon, Earla Horton (Jerry), Iris Corkey and Muriel Martin; and her stepson Chris.
