She was predeceased by: her husband Corstiaan; and her great grandchild Stella. She is survived by: her children, Bert Van Kooten (Patricia), Rina Van Kooten (William Verrall) and John Van Kooten (late Elleke); her grandchildren, Daniel Van Kooten (Melanie), Lisa Van Dam, Darron Stepanich (Colette), Jennifer Sankey (Dwayne), Kristina Preece (Sean), Christopher Van Kooten (Ashley), Caitlin Van Kooten (Denis Luchyshyn), Anika Van Kooten and Nicole Van Kooten; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Braeden, Luke, Dillon, Colette, Austin, Logan, Jack, Milo, Taylor, Hudson, Walker and Conrad.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
