She was predeceased by: her siblings, Henry, Arthur, Irene Johnston, Kenneth, James and Elaine.

She is survived by: her husband Edward Etmanski; her daughters, Elaine Barker (Sterling) and Susan McLaren (Cam); her grandchildren, Dale Barker (Jennifer), Scott Barker (Janice) and Marcie McLaren-Harriman (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Mason, Blake, Eli, Danielle and Lily; and her sister Freda Swerbrick (John).

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church in Evelyn's memory.
