She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman Craig Hawkey; and her brother Peter James Beseau. She is survived by: her children, Tanie Steacy (David) and Jeff Woodruff (Kelly McMullin); her grandchildren, Christopher Steacy (Laura) of Columbia and Maryland; and her great grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Steacy.
