He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant MacLachlan and Sara MacLachlan; and his siblings, Pathfinder, Playfair and Alexander "Sandy" MacLachlan.
He is survived by: his children, Katharine, Keith, Christine and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Teagan, Ewan, Callum, Cecilia, Frances and Elizabeth; his sister Katharine; and his friends, Christine MacLachlan, Joan Simeon, Jane McEwan, Maurice Smith, Andy Soper, Rosemary and Francis. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A small private funeral service (attendance limit due to COVID-19) will be held at James Reid Funeral Home on Friday April 23rd, 1:00pm ET.
