With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Frank Heijmans (Kingston, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Frank left this world on September 26, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Frank departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frank may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frank leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louisa; his daughters, Karen McCarthy (Dave) and Anita Murphy (Matthew); his grandchildren, Danielle Desgagnes (Connor), Shannon McCarthy and Mairin Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James Reid Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a donation are encouraged to do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
