He was predeceased by: his wife Claire; his parents, Fred Carroll and Dorothy Carroll; and his brothers, Thomas, Everett and Douglas.

He is survived by: his siblings, Roger (Linda), Kevin (Theresa), Raymond, Colleen and Sharon (Jean Guy).
