He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Ada; and his brother-in-law Carl Collins. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cupido Remembered; his sisters, Judith Gionnou (Thomas) and Kim Hay (Kevin Kell); his nieces, Sara Ann Hay and Elaine; his great-niece Ella Howes; his sister-in-law Mary; his cousins, Donna Jarvis (Colin), Doug Woodman (Dianna) and Patti; and his close friends, Lorne Bull (Joyce), Bonnie Spoelder (Rudy), Phil Bingham (Deb) and Jim Helsby. He is also survived by his many family, friends.
