With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle Helen Mary Harpell (Kingston, Ontario), who passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Murray and Alice Murray; and her husband William Harpell. She is survived by: her siblings, Robin Murray and Elizabeth Cardwell; her children, Bill Harpell (Jocelyn), Greg Harpell (Susan), Shawn Harpell (Lori), Donna Howlett (Barry), Mary Harpell and Laura Harpell; her grandchildren, Ryan Harpell, Jacob, Jordyn Harpell, Melissa, Jesse, Casey, Alisa Howlett and Nathan Millichamp; and her great grandchildren, Zoe, Destiny, Posie, Frances, Buster, Howie, Marigold and Juney.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the James Reid Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3).
