In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazaros and Despina. He is survived by: his spouse Afroditi; his children, Despina (Harry), Larry (Cindy) and Ioannis (Paula); his sister Sophia Ioannidis; and also Hariton Ioannidis. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Reid & Sons (309 Johnson St, Kingston, ON K7L1Y6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Church (121 Johnson St, Kingston, ON K7L1X9). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cataraqui Cemetery (927 Purdy's Mill Rd, Kingston, ON K7M3N1).
