He was predeceased by: his parents, Derwood Vancoughnett and Florence Vancoughnett. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Vancoughnett; his daughters, Beth and Dayna Sullivan; his brother David; his sister-in-law Betty Lou; his nieces, Marie and Angie; his great-nieces, Katie and Melissa; his aunt Ruby (Howard); Dwyane and Steve.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Wilmer Cemetery.
