Gord Hayes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, at the age of 84, Gord Hayes (Kingston, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Mark Hayes (Adria), Kimberley Peyton and Patricia Hayes; his grandchildren, Crystal Garrity, Nicki Hayes, Kai Mackintosh, Carter, Adam, Braeden Hayes and Colton Bernier; and his siblings, Valerie (Rocky), Brian (Gwen), Greg (Jane), Margaret and David (Marta). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cataraqui Cemetery (927 Purdy's Mill Rd, Kingston, ON K7M3N1). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Raxx Bar and Grill (665 Development Dr, Kingston, ON K7M4W6).
