He is survived by : his parents, Teach Verduin and Laughter Greg Verduin; his brother Steve (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Terry (Robin), Peter (Sara), Katie (Chris), Millar and Sarah Graham; his son Matthew; his wife Cecilia; and his children, Arabella and Elliott.

He retired at age 66 after teaching the last few months on-line due to Covid.
