She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Peke Bangma and Pietronella Bangma; her husband John (Pake); her siblings, Ken Bangma (Gloria), Wiesje Stadig (Arnold), Geesje Vanderwoude (Rick), Henry Bangma (Leslie), Henny Feenstra (Harold), Fred Bangma (Diane), Bill Bangma (Elaine), Peter Bangma (Kris), Jeff Bangma (Ellen), Roderick Bangma (Sharrol) and Pamela Bangma (Dan); her children, Barb Bierman (Darrell) of Cambridge, Carrie Wilson (Aric) of Godfrey, Michael (Sarah Rose) of London and Jennifer Shaw (Ben) of Kingston; and her grandchildren, Devin Quinney, Erik, Aleke Bierman, Kristen and John Calvin Shaw.

Services will be held at 2pm on November 26th at Westside Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, with restrictions in place due to COVID-19.

In lieu of flower's donations in Grietje's honour can be made to the Kingston Christian School bursary fund 1212 Woodbine Road, Kingston, Ontario K7P 2X6.
