He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Irmine (Aurie); his brother Gordon; and his niece Tammy. He is survived by: his wife Rita (O'Meara); his children, Kelly (Frank Tries) of Kamloops, Chris (Anne) of Kingston, Michael (Tish) of Uxbridge and Mark (Karen) of Frankford; his grandchildren, Frank, Clare, Katherine, Rebecca, Mary, Mark, Emily, Mikaela, Andrew and Sarah; his sister-in-law Margaret; his nieces, Lynn and Kim; and his nephew Stuart. He is also survived by extended family members including countless nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (392 Palace Rd, Kingston, ON K7L4T3).
