In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Heather had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Heather may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father William Earl; her stepfather George Sayliss; and her brothers, Billy and Ross. She is survived by: her husband Michael Cantwell; her children, Vince Handyside, Maggie Halliday and Shantel Halliday (James); and her mother Margaret Sayliss. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
