She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dawson and Delia Dawson; her husband Pastor Albert Smith; her son Lloyd Smith; her great grandchild Nina Hsiung; her siblings, Malcom, Bruce Dawson and Violet Grant; and her former husband Albert Faulk of Denbigh.

She is survived by: her daughter Gael Lohnes; her son-in-law Pastor Keith Lohnes; her granddaughters, Ruth Juhlin (Steven) and Marie Hsiung (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Rachel, Anna, Matthew Juhlin, Sarah and Serena Hsiung.

Memorial donations by cheque only to Vennachar Free Methodist Church or Canadian Bible Society are appreciated by the family.
