He was predeceased by: his sibling Jorgen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jørn (Helena) of Denmark and Christine of Kingston; his grandchildren, Anton and August; his siblings, Jetta and Berit; and his siblings-in-law, Reg (Helen), Harold (Patty), Billy, David (Sandra) and Gordon (Bev).
