He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burnett and Antomelia Burnett; his spouse Trevel Burnett; his son Omrie Burnett; and his siblings, Roy, Jephthah, Walter, Lloyd, Jasper Burnett, Fredricka Bygrave, Louise "Sweetie" Lewis, Josephine "Lovie" Fraser and Winnifred Bramwell.
He is survived by: his friend Ivan; his children, Donna Fabbro (Sergio) of Pickering, ON, Phillipa Weatherburne (Philip) of North Carolina and Robert Burnett (Rhona) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Tiana Gayle, Craig Burnett (Leishiear), TrudyLee Gayle, Tracyann Mburu (KJ), Candice Weatherburne, Robert Burnett Jr., Stephen Perry, Jordan Weatherburne (Erika) and Jasmine Burnett; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Christina, Christen Burnett, Isabella and Benjamin Mburu; and his sister Nellie Graham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
